China Eastern Airlines has just restarted flights from Shanghai Pudong to Kashgar, Xinjiang, reconnecting the most distant ends of China. Not only does this route significantly shorten travel times across vast distances, it also strengthens economic ties between the two places and lays a solid foundation for creating a golden corridor connecting Asia and Europe.
